I’m too cheap to buy photos for $29.
But I’ll copy some thumbnails and show ’em off no problem.
The swim was surprisingly hard. Not because of the distance or the wves, but because I couldn’t hold my line and added 300 meters (rough estimate) to the swim.
I love the way they made it look like I was leading the pack.
Once again, I’m ahead of somebody.
And, of course, the put a medal around your neck and pose you in front of a banner.

I snuck into my bedroom ast night to catch Emily on the computer.

Family, I’m just writing this little note as I sit in my hotel room in Boise after Ironman Boise.
I want you all to know how wonderful Shana is.
She supports me. She tolerates me. She encourages me.
All while I chase around silly mostly-selfish goals and desires like riding my bike and doing crazy things.
And she doesn’t complain.
Rather, she works solo taking care of our family and making sure everything and everyone is happy.
Shana. I love you.

Emily, the sweetest little angle in the world, is a forward thinking — not to mention perfectly innocent and hopeful about all things Christmas — girl.

The things this awesome kid thinks of are so cute. And we’re so lucky to have her in our family.
