Hey everyone this is Kinsey 🙂
Before i get started i’d like to announce to everyone that the Twilight saga written by Stephenie Meyer is amazing and the movie isn’t half bad either. Well that didn’t sound enthousiastic enough so TTTTTTWWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHTTTTTTTTTT IS MY MOST FAVORITEST BOOK EVER AND ANYBODY WHO HASN’T READ IT DOESN’T KNOW WHAT THEY’RE MISSING OUT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.
I thought it would be fun to post something so I’ll just tell you about our mother daughter night that mom and I had Saturday night. We had planned on watching movie (i know, we’re pretty wild eh? jk) but mom wanted to make chocolate cake instead…? I didn’t really see the fun in that but I like cake so i thought “hey why not”. So we made cake. With applesauce. I don’t know how my grandma figured out you could use applesause in a cake but i’m kind of hoping it happened in some sort of humorous accident like something off of Anne of Green Gables.
Well no matter how she worked that one out it was delicious. 🙂
But funny thing, making cake doesn’t take up half the time watching a movie does.. So after sitting around in the kitchen for like twenty minutes we started playing catch with this monkey that got ripped off my sisters backpack. Random much? I guess we’re just easily entertained.. So we play catch with this monkey and mom starts tossing it really high in the air so I have to jump, catch it, and land on our lovesac. i made some pretty darn amazing catches 🙂
But here’s the best part, so did my mom. Maybe I was just really hyper and thought everything was way funny that night but i got a total kick out of her leaping in the air trying to catch this itty bitty ratty monkey while her hair is flying in her face and she’s laughing like a walrus. 🙂
Kinsey, what a fun night with your Mom. You’ll have that
memory the rest of your life. When you are older, you can
remind your Mom about the monkey toss you had one
night when you were 14. You will both laugh about that
memory. I haven’t read the Twilight books, but I know a
lot of your aunts have and they say they are good. I’m
kind of busy learning what to do in the Temple now that
Grandpa and I work two days a week in the Temple. I
didn’t know there was so much to learn and I’m not as
smart a lot of you. Thanks for posting a blog. I love you
and all your family.
Love, Grandma Iris
your mom laughs like a walrus?
I’ve never noticed that.
I now see Shana with a whole new perspective. I never imagined her flying through the air, and especially never laughing like a walrus. Good for you Shana- what a great mom. And – Mandi, you are pretty amazing too! I am glad you can have these moments with your mom and you are willing to share them with us.
Love,
Aunt Alison
Miss Mandy,
OK, maybe I should have gone and seen Twilight with you. Because I took Jason and he made fun of it ALL thru the movie. So I didn’t like it as much as the book.
Maybe us girls need to just go see it. This was a great post! I am glad you took the time, and that you love your mom so much.
